sharing (Italian) food to enjoy life

The Greatest Compliment

Posted by Jim Carfrae on April 5, 2010

After a couple inquiries I am determined to get back onto a regular posting. My social life has been watching my kidS play basketball, no Italian required.

My sister was inspired by the Milano sandwich I mentioned awhile back and decided to create prosciutto sandwiches for her book club. She drizzled olive oil on a sliced baguette, toasted them, spread a fig goat cheese she found at Sobeys and topped with prosciutto.

The greatest compliment to her was that one of the book club members served the same thing on Easter to her family.

  1. Now that you have me hooked on the goodness of Prosciutto I think you are committed to regular updates.

    Keep up the advice JimmyP!
